What we need is less than the amount of money spent on French fries every 24 hours in the US alone. We need 4235 individuals, companies or institutions to donate US $5,000 each. Each donor will receive a special certificate from the Roots for Life foundation, their name will be engraved on a wall designed by Frances Whitehead that will help protect the genebank in Lima, Peru as an acknowledgement to the people of the highlands who left us this legacy. We will hold a special ceremony in Svalbard, Norway where part of the collection will be held.
